룻기와 에스더서 는 여성들이 주인공으 로 등장하는 책들이다 . 성경에서 그 분량은 작지만 비중이 큰 책들이다 . 위기 속에 있었던 룻과 에스더는 하나님을 믿는 믿음 속에서 인생의 위기를 극복해 나갔다. 동시에 하나님은 어둠 속에서 신앙의 빛을 따라 믿음의 발걸음을 걸어 나가는 룻과 에스더를 통해서 어둠을 하나씩 하나씩 벗겨 나가셨다 . 하나님은 위기를 기회로 만드시고 하나님의 역사를 이루어 가셨다. 지금도 우리 인생의 위기 속에서 믿음의 불꽃을 타오르게 하는 책이 바로 룻기와 에스더서 이다.

Ruth & Esther: The Fire of Belief that Burns in Crisis
The Books of Ruth and Esther are stories which women are protagonists.
Even though the stories are short, these books are of great importance in the Bible. When Esther and Ruth were in crisis, they overcame their life's tribulations by trusting in God. At the same time, God peeled away the darkness through Ruth and Esther's trust in God as they walked through the darkness with only their faith as light. God turns our crisis into opportunity and makes his history. Even now, the Books of Ruth and Esther spark the fire of belief during our life tribulations.
