GenOn Ministries’ intergenerational resources are designed to intentionally bring generations together to learn and grow spiritually and relationally mid-week, Friday night, Saturday afternoon, or Sunday afternoon/evening. These resources provide ideas and structure that allow a broad span of ages to eat together, play together, study God's word together, pray together and worship together.
This 5 gathering resource focuses on ways we work at living together as children of God and includes outreach and mission opportunities, "at home" conversation starters, Pinterest planning ideas and tips, and everything else you need to gather all ages to eat together, play together, study together and worship together. Use all 5 gatherings on sequential days or once a week for 5 weeks, or use single sessions as stand-alone special events. Each are designed to be a gathering of about 2.5-3 hours. Session themes are “Walking and Growing with Jesus” (Luke 24:13–48); “Trusting the Good Shepherd” (Psalm 23 and John 10:11–18); “Bearing Good Fruit” (John 15:1–8); “Love Each Other” (Psalm 98 and John 15:–17); “Green and Growing in the Kingdom of God” (Psalm 92:1–4, 12–15 and Mark 4:26–34).
