Product Overview
Can you imagine how the first disciples must have felt having left their homes and all that they knew to pursue a life with Christ? What must they have been thinking? Many of our contemporary leaders may face the same concerns after answering the call to leadership in their church. This study was developed to help leaders reflect on the importance of defining and nourishing their own call to leadership. Sure, there are the specific responsibilities of congregational leadership. But the effectiveness of a true leader is not always measured by the performance of specific tasks. The greatest challenges often have more to do with the general aspects of church leadership. After saying "yes" to the call, how is that call nourished in faith?
Because this topic is meant for self-reflection and self-development there is no Leader's Guide provided for this study. However, because our best ideas for improving our leadership skills often come from talking with others, we suggest discussing your reaction to this study with other leaders in your congregation.
