Product Overview
This report looks at Christian Faithfulness in St. Louis, MO, through the witness of five congregations, with reflections from a theological educator and the general presbyter of Giddings-Lovejoy Presbytery. It makes recommendations for Presbyterian urban mission policy, and for public policy to increase police accountability and decrease the use of cash bail in places like the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson. Theologically, the testimonies are about incarnation and the search for wholeness in a complex and sometimes conflicted city. It follows the earlier Gospel from Detroit and anticipates a discussion of urban mission and ministry in Baltimore.
