에베소서 5:22-33은 우리의 구원자이신 예수님과 우리 그리스도인 사이를 남편과 아내의 관계에 비유한다. 예수님께서 어느 날 기적과 같이 우리를 찾아오셨고, 우리는 그 날 그 때 그곳에서 예수님을 향한 사랑을 고백하고 영원히 그분을 사랑하며 살겠다고 서약했다. 당신은 지금도 그 서약을 할 때와 같이 주님을 사랑하고 있는가? 당신은 주님의 생각, 걱정, 꿈에 대해 관심이 있는가? 주님과 매일 혹은 정기적으로 즐거운 시간을 보내고 있는가?
<킹덤 라이프: 에베소서>를 가지고 신앙 훈련을 하는 이들에게, 성령께서 예수님을 향한 사랑의 불꽃을 다시 점화해 줄 수 있기를 혹은 그 불꽃이 활활 타오르게 해주시기를 간절히 기도한다.

The Glorious Church
Ephesians 5:22–33 compares the relationship between our Savior Jesus and us as Christians to that of a husband and wife. One day, Jesus miraculously came to us, and in that moment, in that place, we confessed our love for Him and vowed to love Him forever. Do you still love the Lord now as you did when you made that vow? Are you interested in the Lord’s thoughts, concerns, and dreams? Do you spend joyful time with Him daily or regularly?
As you practice your faith with Kingdom Life: Ephesians, I earnestly pray that the Holy Spirit will rekindle the flame of love for Jesus in you—or cause that flame to burn all the more brightly.
