당신과 하나님 사이의 관계는 처음 예수님을 믿었을 때보다 더 가까워지고 있습니까?당신은 언제 하나님을 더욱 간절히 찾습니까? 부족함 없이 평안할 때입니까, 아니면 연약함과 결핍 가운데 있을 때입니까?
많은 사람들은 흔히 하나님의 은혜로 삶이 안정되고 형통해지면, 더 깊이 감사하며 하나님께 가까이 나아갈 것이라고 생각합니다. 그러나 현실은 종종 반대입니다. 배부르고 편안해지면 하나님 없이도 살아갈 수 있을 것처럼 여기며, 눈에 보이는 것들에 마음을 빼앗기기 쉽습니다. 그 결과 보이지 않는 하나님과의 친밀함은 점점 멀어집니다. 은혜가 오래 지속되지 못하는 이유가 여기에 있습니다.

Show Honor to God
Is your relationship with God growing closer than when you first believed in Jesus? When do you seek God more earnestly—when life is peaceful and lacking nothing, or when you are surrounded by weakness and need?
Many people assume that once their lives become stable and prosperous through God’s grace, they will naturally become more thankful and draw nearer to Him. Yet in reality, the opposite often happens. When we are full and comfortable, we begin to live as though we can manage without God, and our hearts are easily captured by the things we can see. As a result, our intimacy with the unseen God gradually fades. This is one reason why grace does not remain vibrant in our lives for long.
Where are you standing right now? Is your gaze fixed on God, or has it turned toward the things that are visible?
