Engage: Gospel begins with reclaiming and sharing your own story of transformation and the story of God's redemptive mission found in Scripture. Effective evangelism starts with personal transformation by the life of Christ, as well as the desire to see the same transformation in friends and the community. As growing disciples, we become people who live into and help others deal with the big questions of life--Is there something more? Does life have meaning and purpose? Where do we belong? Where is our community?
Engage is designed to enable churches and their leadership to begin a journey of prayer and faith-sharing. Organized in three parts--Engage: Gospel, Engage: Discipleship, and Engage: Mission-- each seven-session curriculum resource connects the church with its community and equips members to live out and share their growing faith. Based on the well-loved program by the same name, Engage is developed in partnership with the Office of Evangelism of the PC(USA) and Congregational Ministries Publishing.
