Most of us know someone who is navigating the murky depths of love's ending. As common as it is, there is nothing simple about divorce, and very little other than time can make it any better. So how can we help those going through it?
It can be incredibly helpful to have a loving friend to listen and help sort out the many levels of feeling that accompany the grief associated with divorce. It can be important for a person in trauma to tell the stories over and over and over. Making a commitment to listen until that click of closure or insight moves the grieving person to a different place is an act of love. In this one-session study for adults, participants will discuss the effects of divorce and consider ways to talk and walk with people going through it.
