Product Overview
This Advent, spend time reflecting on the royal titles given to Jesus with "The Messiah: A Youth Study for Advent." This four-week Advent study is adapted from Walter Brueggemann’s book Names for the Messiah: An Advent Study. Each week youth will be learn about one of the four royal titles assigned to the new king in Isaiah 9:6. Then together and independently they will consider how each title shapes and influences our understanding of what it means to be a follower of Christ.
Each week includes a Participant Handout and a Leader's Guide that helps a leader facilitate a forty-five minute session. All of the Leader's Guides feature various exercises including prayers, reflection and discussion questions, group activities, and teaching alternatives.
